Eddie Coffey Group - Saluting Our Hero's Tour

  The Eddie Coffey Group, headed by Eddie Coffey with roots to our native shores of Newfoundland and Labrador. Our program is enhanced with Irish, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia folklore down home music.

         Our group has travelled extensively the past three years. We have been graciously received and overwhelmed by thousands of service personnel, veterans and their families. Special emphases has been on the distinguished Coalition Forces and their wounded comrades.

We are proud to have entertained at 59 Military Bases, 27 Veterans Hospitals and 22 Veterans Homes across North America including Sunny Brook and St. John Rehab in Toronto. By performing morale boosting concerts we have touched the heart and soul of so many and proudly so.

         Our entertainment package proposal is offered gratis at Canadian Forces bases and Veterans Hospitals. It is our contribution generating support and confidence for our troops in opposing global terrorism. Our sole financial benefit is derived from concerts in the private sector and our CD sales. Considering the enormous expense in travel, food and lodging our group has maintained its highest standards to sustain quality performances.

         We feel the utmost in compassion, achievement and boundless satisfaction in participating in this project. To advocate and champion our program, corporate is all-important and most essential. I have included an itinerary of Canadian Forces Bases, Royal Canadian legions and our Special Events Calendar. There are no monetary allowances from the Military. Economic restraints had curtailed any financial contributions for entertainment. The Military's commitment is to the Forces member's dependants left behind. They have set up deployed crises centres, which help with financial and family matters while deployed.

         As we toured Ontario this past summer including the five Canadian Forces Bases, we now realize we need more Canadian emphasis on our Canadian Tour of Bases and private venues while helping market your products and services responsibly. In September the Canadian Forces Central Land Command contacted us to help them gain awareness at the Canadian Exhibition in Toronto. We spent ten days performing and that is where we learned of Sapper Mike McTeague Wounded Warriors Foundation. (You can read about it in our portfolio) On the 29 th of September we helped organize in conjunction with the Toronto Sun, The Support Our Troops Red Friday, over four thousand in attendance and our Support Our Troops back banner was in full view seen not only in Toronto but for the twenty five hundred Canadian Forces members in Afghanistan. That's when we realized the importance of our entertainment value we will donate 25% of our cd sales and    T-Shirt sales at concert events. Wal-Mart concerts a donation of 12.5% to the wounded warriors foundation and 12.5% to Wal Marts local charity.

         We feel this tour of Saluting Our Hero's is well worth an investment by your corporation. Together we can bring much needed cheer to our troops, families and our veterans. By utilizing the Royal Canadian Legions, Junior Rank Clubs on bases and our special events bookings we together can increase awareness, raise much-needed funds and make a worthwhile contribution to our country.

         In concluding this proposal, we are currently in the process of recording our new album entitled "Welcome Back Home" Our second album of thirty dedicated to our Armed Forces and Veterans.   With your financial support we would include your companies logos and special message to the troops and veterans. All media will reflect positively on your company and together our commitment to honour our hero's. If the opportunity occurs to perform for Canadian Forces in Afghanistan this year during December we would like to provide a copy of the album to those in attendance. The cost is relatively small to the amount of joy to those so far away from home.
