| Eddie Coffey is a musician, a songwriter and a storyteller from Newfoundland, Canada, with 31 CD's currently on the market. Eddie's songs continue to tell of life in the Maritimes, and of events that have had an impact on him. His stories are all true. Eddie's presentation ranges from sensitive to joyful and humorous and he never fails to touch the hearts of his audience. Eddie and his group have been touring North America supplying morale boosting concerts for Canadian and United States Forces. They also perform for Veterans Hospitals and Retired Veterans Homes. To date they have visited 59 military bases, 29 veterans hospitals and 12 veterans retired homes. He and his group have done this completely free of charge on there own expense as volunteers and as ambassadors of freedom and democracy. They hit the road in May 2003 and are still going. In 2007 with a new album being recorded they plan to hit 29 more bases and numerous veterans hospitals. While on the road they depend on donations, CD sales and private bookings. The group will be touring Ontario and Eastern Canada this summer including Newfoundland at Walmart and other venues in aid of the Childrens Miracle Network. 25% of CD sales and DVD sales will be donated to that great cause. See our event calender for dates. For information on how you may donate to this cause contact manager Harold O’Connell at e-mail haroldoconnell@msn.com. We support our troops and veterans of all free nations. |
